Shaftesbury returned to form with a 3 – 1 win at Larkhall Athletic. Charlie Rayfield netted a rebound after Harry Baker’s shot was saved by Liam Armstrong after 25 minutes for his first goal for the ‘Rockies’.
The home side piled on the pressure and it was Harvey Pritchard who got free of the defence to slot home the leveller after 31 minutes. Freddie King, Ryan Beckinsale and Dawid Regula all had chances for Larkhall Athletic, all going close to scoring.
Harry Morgan on for the injured Jack Hoey put Shaftesbury ahead with a chip into the box which squeezed in over line in the 55th minute, before good approach play involving Alefe Santos D’Abadia, Lewis Brown and Louis Sweeten. Sweeten found Toby Holmes to sweep home his 23rd goal of the season and seal the three points with 11 minutes left.
