POLICE in Sherborne are warning residents about youths on motorbikes driving around in an anti-social manner with no care or consideration for others.
Officers took to social media following the incidents, saying that often these youths are not wearing helmets and the bikes are illegal on the roads.
The statement continued: “We are here to serve this neighbourhood that we are very proud of.
“We can only do this with your help as we rely on your information and reports to make us aware of where we need to focus our efforts.
“If you see any of the team out and about please feel free to approach us and let us know your concerns or contact us via the methods mentioned above.
“We have received doorbell and mobile phone footage of some incidents of this and encourage people to get in touch if they have footage to assist in our ongoing investigation.
“If you report this on 101 or via our website https://orlo.uk/h4ElI we, in the Sherborne NPT, will get in touch and can send you a link via your mobile phone number or email where you can upload your video footage to us.
“If you want to remain anonymous we will respect your wishes.”
