NEIGHBOURHOOD policing officers have had a busy week in Gillingham supporting patrol colleagues and keeping the community safe.

PC Ash and PCSO Vicky’s work has included responding to incidents such as drink-driving offences, road traffic collisions and a burglary attended that was attended by PC Ash yesterday.

Both officers have been assisting with enquiries into the burglary, gathering CCTV footage and speaking with the victim and their family.

While out on patrol, they were also approached by members of the public with concerns about neighbours and provided advice on crime prevention.

In addition, the team has been working closely with colleagues and partner agencies to gather intelligence and address community concerns.

Residents are encouraged to continue reporting any issues, as even small pieces of information can be crucial to ongoing investigations.

Gillingham’s Neighbourhood Policing Team will be welcoming PC Brad next week, adding to the team’s efforts to keep the area safe.

Officers also reminded the public to drive safely over the weekend and wrap up warm as the weather continues to improve.
