‘Extensive damage’ at property after Bridport burglary

A BRIDPORT property was badly damaged by burglars – though nothing was stolen, according to police.

Officers were called at around 10am on Saturday, December 20, to reports of a break-in at an address in King Square, King Street.

Extensive damage was caused inside the property and it is not believed anything was stolen.

PC Dan White, of Bridport police, said: “The damage caused in this incident is significant and I am keen to hear from anyone who has information about who was responsible.

“I am also appealing to anyone who has seen suspicious activity in King Street in the days leading up to the report to please come forward.”

Anyone with information should contact Dorset Police on 101, quoting incident number 55250186616, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
