POWER tools and hand tools were stolen from three garages in Fontmell Magna and Ashmore last week.
The garages were broken into between September 4 and 7.
Dorset Police is reassuring the public that they are investigating the burglaries.
PC Matt Saunders said: “As part of our enquiries, I am asking anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the areas over recent days to please get in touch.
“If you think your garage was broken into and you have not spoken to police, please get in touch. If a crime is in progress, always dial 999.”
Anyone who can help is asked to contact police on 101 using reference number 55250132524.
