A BUS had an unfortunate encounter with a tractor in Wincanton this morning (January 10).
Passengers on the 667 service to Street, via Castle Cary, were delayed after the bus collided with the farm vehicle in North Street at around 11.30am.
Pictures posted on social media showed the vehicle with a smashed windscreen as it sat in the road, with the tractor appearing undamaged.
South West Coaches, which operates the route, posted on Twitter: “Please be aware that unfortunately, the 667 is going to be delayed.
“We apologise for the inconvenience. We will keep you updated.”
