Get all dressed up for Halloween Walk in Shaftesbury

CHILDREN – and adults – can get all dressed up in their best spooky outfits for Shaftesbury Rotary Club’s Lantern Halloween Walk at the end of the month.

Participants are also encouraged to take along their home-made or bought lanterns – battery or solar powered – for the event, which will raise money for the good causes the group supports.

The walk of about 2.5km is on Saturday, October 28, and starts at the Quaker Meeting House in Abbey Walk, Shaftesbury, with registration at 4.30pm.

Children will have an activity sheet to complete along the way, and prizes are on offer for best home-made lantern, best dressed child and best dressed family.

The entry fee is £10 for two adults and two children, or £5 for one adult and two children, with each additional child £1. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
