A TEENAGER died in a crash near Wareham yesterday and police are seeking witnesses and dash cam footage.
Officers received a report at 8.42pm of a single vehicle collision involving a black Volvo V70 in Morden Road.
A male passenger in the vehicle, aged 18 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been informed.
The driver of the vehicle – a man aged in his 20s – and a male teenage passenger both sustained serious injuries and have been taken to hospital for treatment.
Road closures were put in place to allow emergency services to safely deal with the incident.
Sgt Josh Alner, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who very sadly died in this collision.
“We are carrying out a detailed investigation to establish the full circumstances of what happened and I would urge any witnesses, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to please get in touch.
“I would like to thank the public for their patience while the road closure was in place, which enabled us to safely examine the scene.”
