Dogs, Dancing and Donuts at Horserenity’s Easter Fete and Dog Show

Smiles and Silliness will be the order of the day at Horserenity’s Dog Show and Easter Fete.

Local not-for-profit Horserenity will be opening the gates, at Kites Farm, Blandford Forum on Saturday 6th April to raise funds to support its community mission to support those struggling with their mental wellbeing. The whole event has been conceived and planned by some of those who attend the centre.

Fun and joy will be the order of the day. Kids are free, adults a £5 donation.

Please bring your dogs, large and small; pedigree and rescue for a chance to win a prize for:
• the waggiest tail,
• best trick,
• most agile,
• eat a sausage off a string
• most take homeable

Come and meet the herd of therapy horses from the noble competition horse, Texas Jackpot, the 38-year-old matriarch Poppy, little Peter pony and Dude the cob who would win the prize for the longest moustache.

Free games, wonderful prizes, food and drink, local craft and gift stalls, as well as a hands on, live equine physiotherapy demonstration by RW Physio.

Local dance school, Starlight Dance Academy, will be putting on a show with members as young as 5 years old. Come and watch, or even get pulled into the ring for the interactive line dance.

Unique Horserenity merchandise will also be available to order.

It is all for an incredibly important cause to support those in our community who are struggling with their mental health and where connection with the horses can transform lives.

The event is from 10.30am to 3.30pm, on Saturday 6th April 2024, at Kites Farm, Tin Pot Lane, Blandford Forum, DT11 7TD.
