Step into a world of smuggling, secrets, and seaside adventure as local children’s author Will Adams brings his reimagined classic Moonfleet Crimson Tide to life in this lively, immersive family event.

Inspired by the original tale of mystery and daring along the coast, Moonfleet Crimson Tide is a thrilling story designed for young readers who enjoy action, history, and suspense. In this special session, Will Adams will introduce children to the world of the story, weaving together storytelling, local history, and imagination to create a rich and engaging experience. Guests will hear the opening chapters read aloud, accompanied by the first songs from the story, helping to bring the atmosphere and characters vividly to life. The session is designed to spark creativity and participation, with children invited to take part in their own artistic adventure by drawing and colouring ideas inspired by the narrative. All materials will be provided, and completed entries can be submitted for a competition to win a fabulously sparkling aquamarine special replica of the French Blue Diamond.

Signed copies of Moonfleet Crimson Tide will be available to purchase on the day, alongside an opportunity to meet the author.
