Get ready for a feast of flavour, fun and community spirit in the heart of Shaftesbury. On Sunday 3rd May, the town’s historic streets will buzz with the sights, smells and sounds of the annual, Shaftesbury Food Festival now volunteer-run as a not-for-profit.

Highlights include the iconic Gold Hill Cheese Race, live MasterChefs demos, a bustling Street Market packed with Dorset artisan producers and global flavour sensations, with plenty of fun for the whole family.

New for 2026, the Food Trail on Saturday 2nd will take you on a culinary journey around local vineyards, farms and delis. Plus, don’t miss A Feast for the Eyes at the Shaftesbury Arts Centre, a food-inspired art exhibition, and the lively Children’s Art Competition.
