Water roadworks see traffic lights installed in Wincanton – but end today

ROADWORKS in Wincanton have seen traffic lights installed – but they are due to end today (October 27).

Wessex Water has been carrying out work in the Southgate Lane/Moor Lane area in recent days.

Temporary traffic lights have been in place, while Somerset Council said the works impacted Station Road and South Street in the town centre, with a diversion in place via West Hill.

The work is due to end on Friday, October 27.

It comes weeks after confusion over a road closure in Dyke’s Way, Wincanton, which saw drivers facing delays and a diversion, again via West Hill.
