POLICE are appealing for the public’s help to find a missing man who was last seen near Dorchester.
Robert, 48, was reported missing after he was last seen yesterday (June 18) in the Charlton Down area at around 4.45pm.
Dorset Police has issued an appeal as officers work to establish his whereabouts and ensure he is safe and well.
Robert is described as being around 5ft 11ins tall, of medium build, with short grey hair. When he was last seen he was wearing a grey T-shirt, black trousers and grey Adidas trainers.
Insp Charlotte Lee said officers are growing concerned for his welfare.
She said: “Robert has left the area unexpectedly and we need to find him to make sure he is OK.
“I would ask anyone who has seen Robert, or a man matching the description given, to please get in touch.
“If you see this appeal Robert, please speak with us or your family as we just want to make sure you are safe.”
Police are asking residents in Charlton Down, Dorchester and surrounding areas to check any outbuildings, gardens, CCTV or dashcam footage that may help trace Robert’s movements.
Anyone who believes they have seen him, or who has information about where he may be, is urged to contact police immediately.
