Ukrainian Refugee Appeal

A local group is pulling together to send donated items to Ukrainian refugees. Led by Blandford based Svetlana Parkinson, a Ukrainian national who has lived in the UK for 12 years, the volunteers have already collected hundreds of items with the help of a number of local companies.

On Friday the 4th of March a consignment gathered by Svetlana and a number of willing helpers, will begin its journey to the Polish border. For anyone wishing to donate, it’s still not too late and there are several of drop off points.
