POLICE are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a crash on the A31 that left one person with potentially serious injuries.
Emergency services were called to Stag Gate, in Winterborne Zelston, at around 1.54pm on Monday (June 22) following an incident involving a grey Hyundai Kona and a grey MG HS.
A road closure was put in place while emergency services dealt with the incident and investigations were carried out, with two occupants of the Kona taken to hospital.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said one of them suffered injuries that are believed to be potentially serious.
Officers are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and are urging anyone who saw what happened to come forward.
PC Dan Blagden, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are carrying out a thorough investigation to establish the full circumstances of this collision.
“I would urge any witnesses or anyone who may have captured relevant dashcam footage to please contact us.
“I would also like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding during the road closures.”
