TV star Martin Clunes set for Dorset hospice fete appearance

ACTOR Martin Clunes is set to once again be a guest at a charity’s annual summer fete next week.

The Doc Martin and Men Behaving Badly star is a long-time supporter of Weldmar Hospicecare and is set to visit the event, at the Dorchester hospice, on September 9.

Running from 11am to 4pm, the event will feature a raffle, live singers, a children’s entertainer, food stalls and more.

“Friend and supporter of Weldmar Hospicecare, Martin Clunes, will be once again very kindly taking time out of his busy schedule to join attendees at the fete,” a spokesperson said.

“The event is great value for money with the entry fee remaining at just £2 for adults, with children going free, and First Bus will be running a free shuttle bus service to the event from the Fairfield car park in Dorchester.”
