The Clockspire restaurant in Milborne Port scoops ‘Best Front of House Team’ prize

FINE dining restaurant The Clockspire has taken home the award for ‘Best Front of House Team’ in this year’s Trencherman’s Awards.

The awards, which honour the very best of the south west dining scene, seek the region’s best culinary experiences, from bar lists, to innovation, to the best restaurant.

The Clockspire was also shortlisted for the second year running for ‘Best Restaurant’.

The accolade adds to the 2 AA Rosettes, an AA Notable Wine List Award, a recent entry in Square Meal’s Top 100, and recognition from Hardens and Michelin.

General manager David Hill, formerly of the renowned Catch in Weymouth, heads up the team.

He said: “I am absolutely delighted that we have won Best Front of House Team at Trenchermans this year.

“Winning in front of our peers, alongside some incredible industry names and venues, made it even more special.

2025 is set to be a stellar year for The Clockspire as a new wave of diners discover the great value set menu (from £25 for two courses), which is offered midweek alongside the classic a la carte, as well as a locally renowned Sunday lunch (two courses £40) and sell-out afternoon tea occasions.
