Temporary traffic lights set for busy Shaftesbury route during cabling work

TEMPORARY traffic lights are set to be installed on a busy route near Shaftesbury as roadworks take place.

Work is set to begin on a stretch of the A3081 Shaftesbury Road on Monday (March 25) morning to install new cabling.

The scheme will see three-way lights in place around the junction for Port Regis School and Calves Lane.

Although the order for work is in place until June 25, it is estimated the work will be completed in around seven days.
