Teen suffers facial injuries in Shaftesbury lane attack

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was assaulted in a Shaftesbury lane.

Officers from Dorset Police say the incident happened at around 7.40pm on Thursday, March 26, in Mampitts Lane.

A teenage boy was reportedly assaulted by another teenager known to him before the suspect left the scene in a red Audi A3.

The victim suffered minor facial injuries.

An investigation is now underway with officers urging anyone who may have seen what happened to come forward.

PC Allannah Clark said: “We are carrying out an investigation into this incident and I am keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information.

“I am also urging any motorists who were in the area around the relevant time to please check their dashcam footage for anything that might assist our enquiries.”
