A TEENAGER broke his wrist after swerving to avoid a car in Dorchester.

Police have now released an image of a vehicle they would like to trace in connection with the incident, that occurred in Kings Road at around 8.50pm on Thursday, June 15.

The 13-year-old boy was riding his bike when he had to take evasive action to avoid a collision with a yellow car, police said.

“There was no direct contact with the car, however, the cyclist came off his bike as a result of the incident and sustained a broken wrist,” a spokesperson added.

It was reported the car, believed to be a Honda Jazz, did not stop at the scene.
