Sturminster footballers have a professional look thanks to new kit

YOUNG footballers sporting new kit after landing a sponsorship deal from housebuilder CG Fry & Son.

Sturminster Newton Under 14s, based at Barnetts Field, attracts players from across the area, including the likes of Marnhull and other villages.

Now, they are turning out in new kit thanks to the sponsorship of CG Fry & Son.

Simon Goddard, coach of the under 14s team, said: “Financial support is vital at grassroots football level, and we can’t thank CG Fry & Son enough.

“It enables us to ensure our players are in the best kit possible and that costs are not passed on to players and their families.

“We pride ourselves on being a low-cost activity that allows both children and adults to socialise and exercise – but without the support of our sponsors, this wouldn’t be possible. The team love their new kit and look very professional on the pitch.”

Hannah Lee, from CG Fry & Son, added: “We are delighted to sponsor Sturminster Newton under 14s.

“I visited the team during a home match, and they were very friendly and skilful on the pitch. They’re a great team, and we’re proud to be supporting them.”

Among the firm’s developments is Durbeyfield Park, in Marnhull.
