Spectacular Kingston Lacy Christmas Lights

While many of us are still waiting for summer to put in a late appearance (“And just what time do you call this..?!?”), and squeeze in one last BBQ, the creative minds at the National Trust’s Kingston Lacy House are already gearing up for Christmas.

And it really does pay to plan ahead. The team at Kingston Lacy’s 8,500 acre estate shall be hanging their stockings with care, along with a wonderful Christmas trail through their stunning grounds which will be transformed with luminescent landscapes. Christmas is the most magical time of the year and this year visitors can enjoy something even more special from the 3rd of December until the 2nd of January.

If Christmas is all about enjoying time together and creating wonderful memories, then this is how it should be done. Working in conjunction with Sony Music, everyone’s favourite Christmas songs are brought to life with a spectacular. Guests are invited to walk along the trail and through tunnels of light, passed giant baubles, Christmas characters and more as the gardens shimmers with yuletide magic.

For younger (and some older) visitors it simply wouldn’t be Christmas without the guy in the big red suit and guests just might get a glimpse of Father Christmas as they pass through the impressive Fire Garden.

To keep everyone warm, street vendors offer a fantastic variety of treats, winter warmers and hot drinks, so whether you like your eggs nogged, your pies minced or your something a little more spicy, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
