Six year old remains in hospital after A37 crash near Dorchester

A SIX-year-old girl remains in hospital after a crash near Dorchester (link: https://blackmorevale.net/six-year-old-seriously-injured-in-a37-crash-near-dorchester/) last month.

The incident, involving a black Ford Focus and a silver Mercedes, happened at around 8pm on Saturday, October 29, on the A37 at Holywell Cross.

The driver of the Ford sustained serious injuries and two passengers sustained minor injuries. All three were taken to hospital for treatment.

The young girl, a third passenger in the Ford, remains in hospital in a serious condition.

Now, Dorset Police officers have renewed their appeal for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.

Police Sergeant Geraint Butler, of the traffic unit, said: “We are continuing to carry out an investigation into this collision to establish exactly what happened.

“Following initial enquiries, we know that a number of vehicles travelled past the incident going up the hill and I would urge these drivers to please come forward.

“I would continue to ask anyone who has important information or relevant dashcam footage to please get in touch with Dorset Police.”
