Shaftesbury Rotary’s charity bike ride returns for 2024

CHARITABLE cyclists can get on their bikes for a good cause at a special event this spring.

The North Dorset Cycle Ride, organised by Shaftesbury Rotary Club, will take place on Sunday, May 19.

Offering participants the choice of 25-mile or 50-mile rides, the Family Ride introduced in 2023 will also return.

Rides will finish on the iconic Gold Hill in Shaftesbury, with races starting from 8.30am on Park Walk.

Full details of the ride and how to enter can be found on Shaftesbury Rotary Club’s website or on social media.

All those completing the rides will receive a medal, while profits from the event will be donated to the HOPE charity. And for the third year running, the event will be sponsored by BV Dairy.
