Sexual assault victims asked to share their experiences

POLICE in Dorset say they are constantly looking to improve services for victims of rape and serious sexual offences, urging those affected to share their experiences.

As part of an ongoing commitment to supporting victims, Dorset Police is running a survey for those who have reported rape and serious sexual assaults.

Officers say that by sharing their experiences, victims will help continued efforts to improve services and identify areas of best practice.

Those taking part in the survey will also be signposted to support services where they can obtain further help and support.

People wishing to take part in the survey can do so at https://forms.office.com/pages/responsepage.aspx…

Alternatively, they can scan the QR code (below).

Anyone who has been a victim of rape or sexual assault, and wants to report directly to the police, should call 101 and ask to be put in contact with a specially trained police officer.

Always dial 999 in an emergency. Alternatively, support is available from The Shores Sexual Assault Referral Centre by calling 0800 970 9954.
