Second arrest after theft of minibus found near Bridport

A SECOND arrest has been made after a minibus was allegedly stolen from Melcombe Regis, Weymouth.

Dorset Police responded to reports the vehicle had been taken at 11.15am on Sunday, September 22.

After a search, officers located it in Bradpole, near Bridport, at around noon.

It was reported a man made off from the scene.

Following an appeal by police, a 44-year-old man from Weymouth has been arrested on suspicion of burglary, aggravated vehicle taking and driving offences.

He has been released on police bail as the investigation continues.

A 33-year-old woman from Weymouth who was previously arrested on suspicion of theft, burglary and driving offences, remains on police bail.
