A MAJOR route between Blandford and Shaftesbury is closed after a crash.
Dorset Police said the Higher Shaftesbury Road is shut at Spread Eagle Hill – with no access to Shaftesbury or Blandford – in either direction.
Officers said it was closed due to a three vehicle crash this morning and to “allow emergency services and the local authority to maintain safety due to icy conditions”.
“Please find an alternative route and drive safely, take extra time with your journey this morning due to cold and icy roads,” a spokesperson added.
