Roadworks in Wincanton as water main leak is repaired

A LEAK in a water main is being repaired in Wincanton.

Temporary traffic lights are installed at the Dyke’s Way roundabout during various hours as Wessex Water works on the site.

It is understood the repairs could take until Thursday (October 5), with work primarily being carried out in the evening hours to minimise disruption.

Traffic is regularly building up along Lawrence Hill, from McDonald’s, as well as from the Morrisons store heading to the roundabout.
