Wincanton Branch of the Royal British Legion held a short and small commemoration at the town’s War Memorial on Saturday, May 15 at 9am to mark the 100th anniversary of their founding.
The Rev Alison Way, rector of Wincanton Parish Church St Peter and St Paul, led prayers and a wreath was laid by the branch chairman Rob Dickinson.
