Power tools stolen in site raid near Dorchester – linked to other burglaries

POWER tools were stolen from a building site near Dorchester – being linked to other break-ins in the area.

Police are appealing for information after a theft from a site in Frome Lane, Frome Vauchurch, some time on Friday, March 31.

Officers are also investigating further break-ins to a barn and a shepherd’s hut that occurred between Tuesday, March 26, and Saturday, April 1, and believe the incidents could be linked.

PC Jack White, of West Dorset police, said: “We are conducting a number of enquiries into these incidents, and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area during the relevant time period, to please contact us.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who may come across any power tools being offered for sale locally in suspicious circumstances.”
