POLICE are appealing for the owner of clothing found on a picnic bench in Sturminster newton to come forward.
The clothing – a bucket-style hat and a grey jacket – were found as officers dealt with an incident in Station Road at around 8pm on Tuesday (August 18).
“This is currently being kept for safekeeping at Blandford Police Station,” a Dorset Police spokesperson said.
“If you are the owner of this clothing, please make contact with us and to prove it is yours, please tell us which brand the jacket is.”
