Police issue CCTV appeal after Dorchester van theft

POLICE have issued a CCTV image of a person they would like to trace in connection with a van theft in Dorchester.

A white Nissan e-NV200 van was taken from the driveway of an address in Martinstown at around 8pm on Wednesday, July 5.

It was found unoccupied in the Bridport area on Wednesday, July 12, Dorset Police said.

PC Glen Caddy, of Dorchester police, said: “We have been carrying out enquiries into this vehicle theft and we have obtained a CCTV image of a man we would like to identify.

“I would urge anyone who recognises him to please come forward.

“I would also like to ask anyone who was driving in the Martinstown area around the time of the theft to please check any dashcam footage they still have stored to see if they have captured anything of relevance.”
