Police appeal after costly damage to property near Blandford

POLICE are trying to identify a woman after property on private land near Blandford was damaged earlier this year.

Dorset Police Rural Crime Team, who launched the appeal, have not given specific details of what damage was caused to the property in the Tarrant Gunville area at around 8.15pm on May 29.

They said the woman left the scene in the direction of Pimperne.

Sergeant Natalie Skinner said the landowner has incurred “considerable cost” because of the incident.

“We have continued to investigate to determine the full circumstances of the incident,” she said.

“However, we have only recently been able to acquire images of a person we would like to speak to in connection with what occurred.

“I would urge anyone who knows who they are to please come forward and speak to us.”
