Died peacefully in Salisbury Hospice on 27th December 2022.
His funeral will take place on Friday 27th January at St
Benedict’s Catholic Church, Gillingham, at 11:00am.
Reception afterwards at Methodist Church Hall, Gillingham.
No flowers please but any donations received will be sent to STARS APPEAL, Salisbury Hospital, nominating the haematology department in memory of Piero

So sad to learn that Piero passed away after Christmas. The last visit to his home was in the summer of 2021 where, as my former singing coach, we took to the scores of his favourite baritone roles and accompanied me at the piano. It was a lovely occasion and as always Piero and his wife Francesca were excellent hosts.
I shall miss Piero’s fun and enjoyment of music and opera and of course our times together.
My condolences to Francesca for her loss.
