PICTURES: Rain holds off for 2023 Mere Carnival

RESIDENTS were out in force for Mere Carnival on Saturday (September 16).

The rain held off for much of the day, with attractions in The Square followed by the Grand Procession, which got underway at around 7.30pm from White Road, finishing near the Quarry Industrial Estate.

Live music filled the air and revellers enjoyed food and fun across the town.
