Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor among players set for Somerset darts tournament

SOME of the world’s best darts players will be arrowing in to Somerset next month for a special tournament.

Yeovil’s Westlands will be the venue for the World Seniors Masters tournament on June 24 and 25, featuring the likes of Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor and 10-time world champion, Trina Gulliver.

Reigning World Seniors Darts champion Robert Thornton will be looking to defend his title in Somerset during a star-studded event on the oche.

The confirmed line up for the event is: Phil Taylor, Robert Thornton, David Cameron, Kevin Painter, Trina Gulliver, Martin Adams, John Part, Bob Anderson, Leonard Gates, Chris Mason, Neil Duff, Mark Dudbridge, Richie Howson, Colin McGarry, Dennis Harbour and Mark McGeeney.

Billy Lovell, of the World Seniors Darts Tour, said: “We’re delighted to have a new home for the World Seniors Masters.

“After an incredible 2022 we want to make it as easy as possible for fans to come and see the fantastic players we have on tour.

“The move to Westlands opens up a new region to the thrill that is live professional darts.”
