A NUMBER of pharmacies are opening on Christmas Day for those in need of advice and medication.
Below is a list of pharmacies open on December 25 in Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset.
“Pharmacists are experts in medicines who can help you and your family with minor health concerns,” an NHS spokesperson said.
“As qualified healthcare professionals, they can offer clinical advice and over-the-counter medicines for a range of minor illnesses, such as coughs, colds, sore throats, tummy trouble and aches and pains.”
Selected pharmacies in Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire open on Christmas Day:

- Victoria Park Pharmacy, 14 Maud Road, Dorchester: 2pm-4pm
- The Abbey Pharmacy, 83 Cheap Street, Sherborne: 10am-noon
- Well Pharmacy, 10 Cornmarket, Warminster: 1pm-3pm
- Boots Pharmacy, 10-11 Market Place, Frome: 2pm-4pm
