People hospitalised after crash near Dorchester: Police

PEOPLE involved in a crash near Dorchester required hospital treatment, police said.

The incident, at around 10.40am on Monday (December 18), involved a red Ford Focus and a white Renault panel van and happened in Waddock Drove, near Hurst Moreton.

The occupants of both vehicles attended hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be serious.

Officers attended and carried out enquiries at the scene, said PC Tom Ringer, of Dorset Police’s Roads Policing Team.

“I am continuing to investigate the circumstances of this incident and am keen to hear from anyone who has not yet spoken to police,” he said.

“I am also appealing to anyone who was travelling in the area with a dashcam fitted to their vehicle to please check the footage for anything of relevance to assist my enquiries.”
