Gillingham AA 5th Winter Championship. River Stour from Deepwater to Highbridge. (20 pegs)

The fifth round of the winter championship was held on a highly coloured and pacy river but luckily the match organiser put it on the slower stretches of the river.

Winner on the day, from Deepwater 10, was Jack Stamp who caught 5lb of roach on the topper float and maggots before adding two perch on the worm feeder to weigh 10-07.

Runner up was Rob Manns who drew peg 15 at Highbridge and caught some big roach on the bolo before going on the pole and adding four decent perch to 2lb to weigh 10-00.
