Multi-storey hospital car park to close this weekend, visitors warned

VISITORS are being warned of disruption to parking at Dorset County Hospital this weekend.

The multi-storey car park on the Dorchester site will be closed on Saturday and Sunday (April 20 and 21) for “essential maintenance”.

In preparation, entry to the car park will stop at 6.30pm on Friday (April 19) – but any vehicles already parked in the MSCP will still be able to leave.

“We will open the fleet and contractors’ car parks over the weekend for staff, patients and visitors to use while this work is carried out and marshals will be on site to direct drivers to alternative parking spaces,” a hospital spokesperson said.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”

The car park will fully re-open on Monday (April 22).
