M&S in Wimborne closing down today

M&S in Wimborne closes today (April 26).

The food store will shut for the final time this evening.

A spokesperson for Sandpiper Stores, which runs the outlet, said discussions with staff were continuing.

“We are disappointed to be closing the store on April 26,” they said. “We know this will be sad news for some of our customers and we’d like to thank them, and the local community, for supporting and shopping with us.

“We are continuing discussions with our colleagues about what this decision means for them.”

The closure comes after Clarks, in Market Place, Blandford, shut on Monday (April 22).
