Model railway exhibition steaming into Bridport next month

MODEL railway enthusiasts will be steaming into west Dorset next month.

The Bridport and District Model Railway Club will hold its annual exhibition at the Sir John Colfox Academy, Bridport, on Saturday, July 29.

Running from 10am to 4pm, visitors will be able to view a variety of layouts in various gauges and themes, from local exhibitors and those coming from further afield.

There will also be layouts representing steam and modern railway scenes with local and international flavours, together with other railway displays.

The exhibition will also have some trade stands for visitors wishing to buy new or second-hand model railway products.

Car parking is available in the car park with hot and cold refreshments being served during the day.

Admission costs £6 for adults. Children under 16 go free, and family tickets (two adults and two children) are available for £10.
