Masked men tried to break into Gillingham barn

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after three masked men tried to break into a barn in Gillingham.

The break-in took place at around 8pm on October 22 in Cherry Orchard Lane. The force said nothing was reported as stolen.

PC Emily Harfield, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this attempted burglary and I would urge any witnesses or anyone with relevant information to please contact us.

“We would also like to hear from anyone who was driving in the area on the evening of Wednesday, October 22 and may have captured relevant dashcam footage.”
