A MAN arrested in connection with an alleged assault near the train station in Gillingham has been released without charge.
Dorset Police received reports that between 12.30pm and 2pm on Saturday, December 9, a woman was assaulted in Station Yard.
A 35-year-old man from Blandford – who is known to the victim – was arrested on suspicion of assault and released on police bail.
Following further enquiries, he has now been released from bail without charge. Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
