ONE person sadly died and another suffered life-changing injuries after four vehicles crashed on the A303 near Charnage in Wiltshire yesterday (June 29).

A Citroën C5 was travelling east along the single carriageway section of the A303 at around 10.30am when it crashed with three motorbikes.

A third motorcyclist involved in the crash was uninjured.

Wiltshire Police have now arrested a man in his 60s on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and drug driving.

He remains in custody.

The force is now appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch by calling the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 01225 694597 using reference 112.
