Man charged over Frome crash that killed sisters Maddie and Libby North

A MAN has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a crash in Frome which tragically killed two sisters.

Thomas Lenthall, of no fixed address, was charged in the early hours of Thursday morning (August 17) with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving and two counts of causing death while driving a motor vehicle without insurance.

The charges come after the crash on the A361 Frome Bypass, on July 25.

Madison North, 21, and 17-year-old sister Liberty, known as Maddie and Libby, tragically died in the incident.

Lenthall, 39, appeared at Taunton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday and has been remanded in custody to appear on Monday, September 18.
