Man attacked outside gents at Wetherspoons pub in Dorchester

A MAN was taken to hospital after being attacked by three others outside the toilets in a Dorchester Wetherspoons.

The incident unfolded on the first floor of The Royal Oak pub, in High West Street, at around 10.40pm on Friday night (September 27).

The victim, a man in his 20s, was assaulted outside the male toilets and was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries to his face and knee.

One of the men involved is described as white, around 5ft 11 inches tall and wearing colourful glasses. Another is described as white and wearing a black Puffa-style jacket.

PC Kaz Corbett, of Dorchester police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this assault as we seek to identify the men responsible.

“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any information that might assist our enquiries, to please contact us.”
