Man and woman hospitalised after car hit a wall in Gillingham High Street

A CAR hit a wall in the centre of Gillingham this morning (March 7), closing a road for around three hours.

The incident happened in the High Street at around 10.15am, with a man and a woman taken to hospital.

“Officers attended with the ambulance service,” a Dorset Police spokesperson said.

“A man and a woman were taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries.

“The road was closed between the Newbury roundabout and Queen’s Street and reopened at around 2.05pm.”
