Lambs stolen from Bridport farm in week before Easter

LAMBS might be in demand at Easter – but someone has gone a step too far and stolen two animals from Bridport.

Two blue texel lambs – a three-week-old ram and a two-week-old ewe – were stolen from a farm just outside the town some time between 9pm on Monday, March 25 and 7.30am the following morning.

“We are appealing to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area of the B3162, Just North of Bridport, that night,” a spokesperson for the Dorset Police Rural Crime Team said.

“We are also appealing to anyone with any information or know who may be responsible for this theft, to please get in contact.”
