Journey into French music

FIFI La Mer and Oliver Wilby promise an exciting and uplifting insight into 100 years of French Music when they visit Dorset.
Their acclaimed show features the dulcet tones of chanteuse Fifi on accordion, and Oliver on clarinet, members of the saxophone family and accordion.

Together they take audiences on a journey through a century of French music, from Offenbach and Gainsbourg to Michel Legrand and Edith Piaf, sharing tales of the mystery, romance and heartache so often associated with Paris, alongside a repertoire of musical gems.

This toe-tapping tribute to French music is at Powerstock Hut – phone 01308 485730 – at 7.30pm on Saturday, March 11, and Piddletrenthide memorial hall – 07786 880676 – at 3pm on Sunday, March 12, as part of a visit with Artsreach, Dorset’s touring arts charity.
